Malta was recently blessed with the visit of Pujya Swami Swaroopananda of the Chinmaya Mission in September 2008. This was Swamiji’s second visit to Malta, but after a gap of nine years. He was joined by devotees from London and India who came to spend time with him and support the Malta organizers.
Swamiji conducted a series of evening lectures entitled, “Roots & Wings: Taking Charge of Your Life” at a local school. Morning sessions were Guided Meditation held at Sukh Sagar, the Maltese Indian Community Centre. Swamiji also conducted a separate session for the children and the youth.
He was well received by both Indians and Maltese alike and amazed everyone with his simple and practical tips on spirituality and life.
The Maltese Indian Diwali Ball is being held on 8th November 2008 at the Le Meridien Hotel.
HH Swami Swaroopananda of Swani CHINMAYANANDA MISSION will be visiting Malta during the second week of September.
