Madras the former name of Chennai is indeed a hot place, both heat and activities wise.

The Sindhi population may easily reach about 20,000 here. Godown street in the heart of the commercial district is textile wise controlled by Sindhis.  There is no doubt.

The Sindhis here are very loving, warm and always willing to extend a helping hand.

There are 3 Main Sindhi Mandirs here, beside the world famous Triputi Mandir. Kilpuk Darbar has a daily satsang from 6.30 pm to 7.30 p.m., while the Sindhu Sadan and the Sufidar Mandir have daily and weekly prayers too.

Food is excellent, and the beaches here too are great. You may have thousands of restaurants here serving Idli sambar and Dosas. Hey, did that make your mouth water?
